Lever hoists

The lever hoist is the rigger's universal tool: it lifts, pulls and tensions in any orientation, operated with one hand on the ratchet lever. The RPD range covers 750 kg through 3000 kg up to 9000 kg — from strapping loads on a trailer to positioning machinery during installation.

For pure vertical lifting from a fixed point, a chain block gives more lift per effort; for long-distance pulls, a wire-rope pulling hoist has no chain-length limit. Contact us if you are unsure about capacity or chain length for the task.

What can I use a lever hoist for?

Lifting, pulling, tensioning and positioning in any orientation — horizontal, vertical or angled. Typical duties: machinery installation, aligning structures, tensioning and securing heavy cargo, rigging on site without power.

Which capacity should I choose?

Rate the hoist by the actual force in the chain, not just the load weight — in angled pulls and tensioning the force can differ from the load's weight. The RPD range covers 750 to 9000 kg; when in doubt, step one size up.

Lever hoist or chain block?

A chain block only lifts vertically but does it with less operator effort over large heights. The lever hoist trades some lifting comfort for universality — it works in any direction and doubles as a tensioner.
