How to choose

What it is for

  1. Stationary scissor table raising loads to ~1–1.6 m — pallet loading/unloading, assembly.
  2. Production line feeding.

Check before you choose

  • Capacity 1–8 t
  • Platform size vs. pallet
  • Lowered height (pit or ramp needed?)
  • Power and control

Not suitable for

  • Heights above 1.6 m — double/triple scissor

What we will ask you before recommending a model

Stationary single-scissor lift table Technical check — we confirm a few parameters and compatibility with you before the order.
  1. Load mass, dimensions and how it is placed: centred, at an edge, rolled on, point load? Does a pallet truck or forklift drive onto the platform? Rated capacity does not permit any point or eccentric load; edge/rolling loads count as 50 % / 33 %; a vehicle on the platform adds wheel loads.
  2. Platform size vs. load footprint; lowered and raised height; travel; cycles per hour; lifting time? Lowered height decides pit or ramp; travel decides single/double/triple scissor; cycle rate sizes motor and hydraulics.

Typical mistakes to avoid

  • Nominal capacity does not allow arbitrary point or eccentric loading — check the permitted distribution.

Horizontal double / tandem scissor lift table Project product — the final configuration is confirmed by our technical team before the order.
  3. Long platform: COG position along the platform, several support points, deflection, scissor synchronism; contact points of the load? Long tables are sensitive to eccentric and local loading.

Typical mistakes to avoid

  • Long tables are sensitive to eccentric and local loads — a drawing of the load contact is important.

Low-lift hydraulic tables

The stationary scissor table is the workhorse of ergonomic production: it holds the work at the right height while parts are added or removed, and its capacity range means the whole pallet — not just the part — rides along. The JHS single-scissor family covers 1000 kg through 4000 kg to 6000 kg, and the double horizontal scissor JHS-D (2000–8000 kg) adds platform length for long goods.

Need more height? See high-lift tables. Loading with a hand pallet truck and no pit? Low-profile models. Hygienic area? Stainless programme. Contact us with load, heights and platform size and we will match the table.

Frequently asked questions

What do I need to specify for a lift table?

Four figures: load weight, lowered height, raised height and platform dimensions — plus how often it cycles per hour. With those we confirm the model, motor and controls; special platform sizes are available on request.

When do I choose the double horizontal scissor?

For long loads: the JHS-D extends the platform by placing two scissor pairs side by side horizontally, carrying 2000–8000 kg without the platform flexing — profiles, sheets, long assemblies.

How is the table installed?

On a flat industrial floor, anchored per the documentation; a pit installation makes the lowered platform flush with the floor where ground-level loading is required. Power is a standard three-phase connection on most models.
