Loading Ramps

Dock Leveler 6000/8000 kg
How to choose
What it is for
- Bridging the level difference between floor and vehicle/container for forklifts and pallet trucks.
- Sites and warehouses without a dock.
Check before you choose
- Capacity incl. forklift weight
- Length vs. height difference and gradient
- Width
- Mobile with wheels vs. fixed
Not suitable for
- Passenger traffic
What we will ask you before recommending a model
Hydraulic loading ramp / dock lift Technical check — we confirm a few parameters and compatibility with you before the order.
- Total mass of the vehicle entering (pallet truck/forklift) + load; wheel base/track and wheel loads; platform; min/max vehicle height; cycles; ground? Capacity must cover machine + load; wheel contact pressure and dynamic load can be critical.
Typical mistakes to avoid
- Capacity must cover machine + load; wheel contact pressure and dynamic loads can be critical.
Helpful to have ready: Mass of forklift/pallet truck + load · Wheelbase/track · Vehicle heights · Cycles · Photo of the site
Dock leveller Project product — the final configuration is confirmed by our technical team before the order.
- Capacity; forklift + load mass; dock height; vehicle floor heights; working range; lip length; pit; power; cycles? Check total and axle/wheel load; the lip must rest safely on the vehicle through the whole range.
Typical mistakes to avoid
- Check total and axle/wheel load; the lip must sit safely on the vehicle across the whole working range.
Helpful to have ready: Dock/pit drawing · Truck types/heights · Forklift with full load · Cycles · Voltage
Loading ramps
Where there is no loading dock, the ramp brings the dock to the vehicle: the hydraulic loading ramp HPSU (2700 kg) bridges the height difference between ground and truck bed with a 2445×1830 mm platform and 1500 mm of hydraulic lift, so pallet trucks and forklifts drive loads on and off safely.
For lifting goods between fixed levels rather than into vehicles, see high-lift scissor tables; the wider lift-table programme covers stationary and mobile variants. Contact us with your vehicle heights and equipment weights.
Frequently asked questions
How is the ramp rated?
The 2700 kg rating covers the transported load plus the machine on the platform — count the pallet truck or forklift with the pallet, not the pallet alone, when checking the capacity.
Does the ramp need a foundation or pit?
No pit — it stands on a flat, load-bearing surface and adjusts hydraulically to the vehicle bed height (up to 1500 mm). Site requirements are listed in the product documentation.
