What we will ask you before recommending a model
Drum stacker / lifter Technical check — we confirm a few parameters and compatibility with you before the order.
- Drum type: steel/plastic/fibre; volume, diameter, height, rim geometry; mass full/empty; lift height; lift only or also tilt/pour (angle)? The standard gripper is not automatically compatible with plastic or non-standard drums — confirm rim/body geometry.
Typical mistakes to avoid
- Standard gripper may not fit plastic or non-standard drums — confirm the rim/body geometry.
Helpful to have ready: Photo and drawing of the drum · Diameter/height · Mass · Required height and angle
Drum trolley Standard selection — the parameters above are enough to choose the right model.
- Mass, volume/diameter, drum material, gripping method, transport distance, floor, thresholds? Capacity alone is not enough — the grip must match diameter and rim.
Typical mistakes to avoid
- Grip must match the drum diameter and rim, not just capacity.

Manual drum stackers
A 200-litre steel drum is an awkward 400 kg: these manual stackers lift, transport and tilt it in controlled fashion without any power supply. The RVB40A lifts drums up to 572 mm diameter to 1350 mm and tilts them up to 120° for controlled pouring; the RVB40B adds a gripping mechanism that locks the drum vertically or horizontally.
For palletised (non-drum) loads see manual pallet stackers. Contact us with your drum type and pouring height and we will confirm the model.
Frequently asked questions
Which drums do these stackers handle?
Standard 200 l steel drums up to 572 mm in diameter and 400 kg gross weight. For plastic or non-standard drums, send us the dimensions and we will check the gripping mechanism's fit.
RVB40A or RVB40B?
The RVB40A is the pouring specialist — tilting up to 120° for controlled emptying into mixers and machines. The RVB40B grips and locks the drum vertically or horizontally, which suits repositioning and storage as much as pouring.
