The RVV-KPV combines a manual stacker with laterally adjustable forged forks: three capacities, 500, 1000 and 1500 kg, forks that slide from 200 mm out to 745 or 950 mm, and fork lengths of 800 or 1060 mm. It is the compact alternative to the fixed-fork RVV for anyone whose goods arrive on more than one pallet size — the 500 kg model is only 805 mm wide and turns in 1180 mm.
Where it fits in the RVV range
Against the fixed-fork RVV500 to RVV1500 it trades 1150 mm welded forks for shorter 800 mm forged forks (1060 mm on request) that can be set to the pallet; against the RVV-PV it is shorter, with 800 mm forks instead of 1070 mm, and in the 500 kg class much lighter — the RVV500-KPV weighs 161 kg and is 1380 mm long. The RVV1000-KPV is the only model of the three available with a 2500 mm two-stage mast; the RVV500-KPV and RVV1500-KPV lift 1600 mm. For closed-bottom loads choose the RVV-DSV with straddle legs; for 2000 kg the RVV2000-KPV.
Typical applications
Wholesale and retail stores that handle EU pallets, half pallets and display pallets with one truck; workshops moving crates, boxes and short skids; laboratories, print shops and electronics assembly where a narrow 805 mm truck has to pass between machines; stores with a single rack level served by hand.
Design and safe operation
- Adjustable forged forks: 48 x 100 mm section on the 500 kg model, 30 x 100 mm on the 1000 and 1500 kg models; 800 mm long with 1060 mm alternative; spread 200–745 mm (500 kg) or 200–950 mm (1000 and 1500 kg)
- Lowered fork height 80 mm (500 kg) or 90 mm (1000 and 1500 kg); fixed support legs run under the pallet
- Hydraulic lifting by hand or foot — 23 / 25, 20 / 22 and 16 / 18 mm per stroke laden / unladen for 500, 1000 and 1500 kg; hand-operated lowering
- Rigid steel mast and frame; metal mesh guard separates the operator from the lifting chains; wheel guards and parking brake
- Rated capacity at a 500 mm load centre; set both forks symmetrically, check the mast height against doors (up to 2085 mm lowered) and travel with the forks lowered

Before you order Technical check — we confirm a few parameters and compatibility with you before the order.
To confirm the right configuration we will ask you:
- Heaviest load including pallet, packaging and any attachment? Rule of thumb: use at most 80 % of rated capacity for safety and service life.
- How high must the load be lifted — top rack beam, vehicle bed, machine table? How many rack levels? Capacity at maximum height is much lower than nominal (residual capacity). Customers know 'the rack', not millimetres — ask them to measure the top beam.
- Is the load always on a EUR pallet (open bottom)? Or CHEP / closed-bottom / plastic pallets, boxes, or goods placed directly on the forks? Dimensions of the pallet underside? Forks with support legs underneath need an open-bottom pallet. Goods without a pallet load the forks at points and bend them. Pallet compatibility matters more than capacity.
- Lowest passage in the working area (doors, beams, pipes, mezzanine, container, lift)? Ceiling height where stacking happens? Lowered mast height must pass every obstacle; extended mast must fit under ceiling, lighting and sprinklers.
- What is the floor: industrial concrete, asphalt, paving, gravel, uneven, potholes, sharp edges, expansion joints, thresholds, drains? Small polyurethane wheels and no suspension: tolerance for unevenness is very low. Sharp edges cut the PU tread; gaps stop the small load rollers.
- Lifts per day and distance moved? Manual hydraulics and pushing a raised 1 t load are tiring; manual stackers are for occasional use.
Typical mistakes to avoid
- Frequent mistake: closed pallet into which the front legs cannot enter.
- Check residual capacity at height where stated.
