- Platform size vs. load footprint; lowered and raised height; travel; cycles per hour; lifting time? Lowered height decides pit or ramp; travel decides single/double/triple scissor; cycle rate sizes motor and hydraulics.
- Material/AISI grade; food/pharma; washdown agents and concentrations; temperature; hygiene requirement; chlorides? AISI 304 may not be enough for chlorides/aggressive agents — check the material of every exposed part.
