How will you use the electric hoist?
Each duty class has its own capacity envelope: the heavier the use, the lower the rated weight, so a heavier class may pull a larger GP sub-model. Selecting a class lighter than your real-world use voids the manufacturer warranty and risks motor failure.

The ZSD is an articulated pillar jib crane: a self-standing column anchored to the floor carrying two hinged arms so the hoist can travel around obstacles rather than in a simple arc. It is built for both indoor and outdoor use and is manual-slewing only.
Key features
- Articulated boom — arm 1 rotates 270°, arm 2 rotates 300° — for obstacle-avoiding coverage around columns and machinery
- Hoist hangs from a fixed suspension point at the arm tip (no travelling trolley)
- Capacity 125-500 kg; spans 2-5 m; standard height under upper hook 3 m, adjustable in 0.1 m steps up to 4 m (above 4 m on request)
- Indoor + outdoor use; manual slewing — this crane type cannot be motorized
- Floor fixation by cast-in installation template + anchor rods, or a bolt-down splitable base plate with a chemical-anchor kit
- Manual or GP electric chain hoist can be added in the configurator and bundled into the quote
- Grinding SA 2.5 + 60 µm C2 polyester powder paint, RAL 1028 yellow finish; outdoor C3 paint systems available

To confirm the right configuration we will ask you:
- Load weight including hoist, trolley and attachments; heaviest lift? Crane capacity must cover hoist + trolley + load. Do not size by WLL alone.
- Total reach and length of both arms; working zone; must the load reach behind a machine or obstacle? Maximum geometric reach is not the same as reachability of every point; both arms and the load path must avoid collisions.
- Required hook height and hall height / obstacles (lights, pipes, doors, sprinklers)? Hook height = clearance − crane − trolley − hoist headroom − hook.
- Cycles per hour, hours per day; manual or motorised slewing / travel? Heavy or frequent loads are hard to slew by hand; duty defines hoist class.
- Foundation / floor data at the pillar position? Same overturning moments as a pillar jib.
Typical mistakes to avoid
- Check collisions of both arms and the load path; geometric reach ≠ real accessibility of each point.
