The RVV-DSV is a straddle stacker: its support legs are set wide apart, 1300 mm clear on the 500 kg model and 1250 mm on the 1000 kg model, and pass alongside the load instead of under it. That is what makes it the manual stacker for closed-bottom pallets, machine bases, crates on bearers and drums that a conventional stacker with legs under the forks cannot pick up. Adjustable forged forks and a 70 mm lowered fork height complete the picture.
Where it fits in the RVV range
The fixed-fork RVV family and the adjustable RVV-PV and RVV-KPV all run their support legs under the pallet, which works for open EU pallets and nothing else. Choose the RVV-DSV when the underside of the load is closed or uneven. Both models lift 1600 mm; the RVV500-DSV uses 48 mm forks on a 1525 mm wide chassis and weighs 223 kg, the RVV1000-DSV uses 30 mm forged forks spreading to 950 mm on a 1475 mm chassis and weighs 294 kg. The price of the straddle legs is width: the truck needs a 2065 to 2072 mm aisle with 800 mm forks and about 2315 to 2322 mm with 1060 mm forks.
Typical applications
Machine builders and workshops moving machine bases, welded frames and switch cabinets on closed skids; chemical and food plants handling drums and IBCs on bearers; import warehouses with closed-deck or one-way pallets; sheet-metal and joinery shops lifting stacks of panels on timber bearers to the first rack level or onto a machine table.

- Wide straddle support legs with 1300 mm (500 kg) or 1250 mm (1000 kg) clear distance; overall width 1525 or 1475 mm
- Adjustable forged forks 800 mm long, 1060 mm as alternative; spread 200–745 mm (500 kg) or 200–950 mm (1000 kg); lowered fork height 70 mm
- Hydraulic lifting by hand or foot, 23 / 25 mm per stroke on the 500 kg model and 20 / 22 mm on the 1000 kg model; hand-operated lowering
- Rigid steel mast and frame; metal mesh guard separates the operator from the lifting chains; wheel guards and parking brake; 30 mm ground clearance under the mast with load
- Rated capacity at a 500 mm load centre; set both forks to the same spread, keep the load between the legs and travel with the forks lowered

Before you order Technical check — we confirm a few parameters and compatibility with you before the order.
To confirm the right configuration we will ask you:
- Heaviest load including pallet, packaging and any attachment? Rule of thumb: use at most 80 % of rated capacity for safety and service life.
- How high must the load be lifted — top rack beam, vehicle bed, machine table? How many rack levels? Capacity at maximum height is much lower than nominal (residual capacity). Customers know 'the rack', not millimetres — ask them to measure the top beam.
- Is the load always on a EUR pallet (open bottom)? Or CHEP / closed-bottom / plastic pallets, boxes, or goods placed directly on the forks? Dimensions of the pallet underside? Forks with support legs underneath need an open-bottom pallet. Goods without a pallet load the forks at points and bend them. Pallet compatibility matters more than capacity.
- Lowest passage in the working area (doors, beams, pipes, mezzanine, container, lift)? Ceiling height where stacking happens? Lowered mast height must pass every obstacle; extended mast must fit under ceiling, lighting and sprinklers.
- What is the floor: industrial concrete, asphalt, paving, gravel, uneven, potholes, sharp edges, expansion joints, thresholds, drains? Small polyurethane wheels and no suspension: tolerance for unevenness is very low. Sharp edges cut the PU tread; gaps stop the small load rollers.
- Lifts per day and distance moved? Manual hydraulics and pushing a raised 1 t load are tiring; manual stackers are for occasional use.
Typical mistakes to avoid
- Frequent mistake: closed pallet into which the front legs cannot enter.
- Check residual capacity at height where stated.
