How will you use the electric hoist?
Each duty class has its own capacity envelope: the heavier the use, the lower the rated weight, so a heavier class may pull a larger GP sub-model. Selecting a class lighter than your real-world use voids the manufacturer warranty and risks motor failure.

The CMPD is a mobile workshop gantry crane: a manual portal frame on castor wheels that can be pushed along the floor, even under load, carrying a hoist on its beam for flexible lifting anywhere in the bay without fixed runways.

Before you order Technical check — we confirm a few parameters and compatibility with you before the order.
To confirm the right configuration we will ask you:
- Load weight including hoist, trolley and attachments; heaviest lift? Crane capacity must cover hoist + trolley + load. Do not size by WLL alone.
- Clear span, overall width, height under the beam, overall height; route: doors, thresholds, channels, ceiling? Gantry must pass doors and clear the load + hoist headroom.
- Must the gantry move while loaded? Floor flatness? Steel gantries generally move unloaded; an uneven floor or a small obstacle can destabilise a loaded portal.
- Lift height (hook path) and headroom available between beam/hook and the load? Chain length must cover the hook path; hoist + trolley + hook height must fit the headroom, measured on the whole assembly.
Typical mistakes to avoid
- Do not assume moving under full load is allowed.
- Uneven floor or a small obstacle can destabilise the portal.
