Height under beam (HUB)

Clear height under the beam. Standard 3 m; 3.5-6 m are priced per model. (HUB = height under beam, French 'hauteur sous fer'.)

Type of use

Outdoor use unlocks the tariff's EXTERNAL USE options: 120-300 µm C3/C4/C5 paint systems, hot-dip galvanizing, hoist covers, the lockable-switch cover and the hoist mooring ring. The standard C2 powder coating is for indoor service.

Chain hoist

Add a GIS GP electric chain hoist or a Delacco manual chain hoist (RLD) to the quote, or supply your own. The hoist must be operated strictly within the crane's rated SWL.

Electric chain hoist — configuration

Every option in this panel belongs to the GIS GP electric chain hoist bundled with your jib crane. It is produced and invoiced as a separate item; the jib-crane options stay outside this panel.

Electric hoist — intensity of use

How will you use the electric hoist?

Each duty class has its own capacity envelope: the heavier the use, the lower the rated weight, so a heavier class may pull a larger GP sub-model. Selecting a class lighter than your real-world use voids the manufacturer warranty and risks motor failure.

Hoist power supply (feeding line)

Galvanised rail with flat cable on trolleys that powers an electric chain hoist along the whole span — whether you buy the hoist here or supply your own. The mobile-pendant version adds two separate parallel rails so the 4-button control pendant travels independently of the hoist.

Wheels — polyurethane tyres

Standard wheels are white polyamide (up to 3.2 t). Polyurethane tyres protect the floor and run more quietly; included at 5000 kg.

Wheels — locking

Add wheel brakes to immobilise the gantry once positioned.

The mobile control pendant comes with 4 buttons / 2 functions (up-down + travelling) as standard.

Cable reel (Enrouleur)

A spring cable reel feeds power to the electric hoist as the gantry is moved. Only the reel rated for the hoist's power class is offered; the price updates with the hoist and reel options.

Paint finish

Standard finish is 60 µm C2 polyester powder (RAL of your choice). Outdoor use requires a C3 or better system or hot-dip galvanizing — pick the type of use above to see the matching finishes. C4/C5 epoxy systems are priced on request.

Rigging ring

A ring welded at the bottom of the pillar for rigging/handling.

Calculation note

Signed structural calculation note for the standard gantry.

Hoist protection cover

The CMPD is a mobile workshop gantry crane: a manual portal frame on castor wheels that can be pushed along the floor, even under load, carrying a hoist on its beam for flexible lifting anywhere in the bay without fixed runways.
