Fixed Spreader Beams

Fixed spreader beams with welded suspension points for repeatable lifting of long or bulky loads, capacities 1000-10 000 kg.
4 products

How to choose

What it is for

  1. One-span lifting beam for a repetitive lift of the same load (machines, tanks, frames).
  2. Simple, lowest-cost beam where the pick-point distance never changes.

Check before you choose

  • Exact span needed
  • WLL with reserve
  • Hook/eye interface at top and bottom

Not suitable for

  • Jobs with varying load lengths — choose adjustable or modular

What we will ask you before recommending a model

Fixed spreader beam / lifting beam Project product — the final configuration is confirmed by our technical team before the order.
  1. Total mass, load length, COG, spacing and number of lower pick-points, type of attachment, available headroom, top attachment (crane hook size)? WLL of the beam is not enough: eccentric COG and unequal distribution can overload a single point.

Typical mistakes to avoid

  • Beam WLL alone is not sufficient — eccentric COG and unequal distribution can overload one point.

Helpful to have ready: Load drawing with mass, COG and pick-points · Photo of the crane hook · Required headroom

Fixed spreader beams

For a load that repeats, the fixed spreader beam is the simplest and most economical way to get two controlled lifting points: welded suspension points, no moving parts, nothing to adjust or maintain. The programme covers the standard FNG (1000–10 000 kg, 1–6 m), the ECO version FENG, the spreader bar FPG and the aluminium FANG (125–2000 kg) where dead weight matters.

If load widths vary, an adjustable beam adapts its hook positions; for four-point and project lifts see modular systems. Contact us with load, span and headroom and we will pick the beam and slings.

Frequently asked questions

Spreader beam or spreader bar — what is the difference?

A spreader beam hangs from one central point and spreads the load to two end points. A spreader bar is rigged from both ends and works in compression. Which geometry fits depends on headroom and how the crane connects — we advise per case.

Why choose the aluminium version?

The FANG weighs a fraction of a steel beam, which preserves crane capacity and spares the riggers — the pick for smaller cranes and frequent manual handling, covering 125–2000 kg.
