Adjustable Spreader Beams

Adjustable spreader beams with movable hook positions to match different load sizes, capacities 125-10 000 kg and spans up to 6 m.
4 products

How to choose

What it is for

  1. Lifting beam with pick-points that slide/pin to several spans — different load sizes with one beam.
  2. Workshop and maintenance use where load length varies.

Check before you choose

  • WLL at maximum span (not only nominal)
  • Span range covers all loads
  • Pin/locking type

Not suitable for

  • Very long spans beyond the beam's range — see modular

What we will ask you before recommending a model

Adjustable / telescopic spreader beam Project product — the final configuration is confirmed by our technical team before the order.
  1. All items of a fixed beam + min/max spacing, locking step, number of configurations, COG range? Capacity may depend on the adjustment position.

Typical mistakes to avoid

  • Capacity can depend on the adjustment position — do not assume the same WLL in every position.

Helpful to have ready: Drawings of typical loads · Min/max spacings · COG · Required adjustment step

Adjustable spreader beams

When load widths change from lift to lift, the adjustable beam moves its hook positions instead of forcing you to stock several fixed beams. The programme mirrors the fixed range: the standard PNG (1000–10 000 kg, 1–6 m), the ECO version PENG, the adjustable bar PPG (2–5 m) and the aluminium PANG (125–2000 kg).

For a single repeating load a fixed beam is lighter and cheaper at the same capacity; four-point and oversized lifts belong to modular systems. Contact us with your load range and we will confirm the beam and sling set.

Frequently asked questions

How does the adjustment work?

The suspension points move along the beam and lock in defined positions, so one beam covers a range of load widths. The rated capacity per position is stated in the beam's documentation.

Fixed or adjustable beam?

Fixed if the load geometry repeats — lighter, cheaper, nothing to set. Adjustable when widths vary between lifts: the small extra weight and price replace an entire rack of fixed beams.

How quickly can an adjustable spreader beam be delivered?

Request a quote with the load range and span and we will confirm the current lead time and delivery cost for your location.
