Load securing and packaging
Cargo that leaves the warehouse must arrive unmoved — this family covers both halves of that job. Securing on the vehicle: ratchet lashing straps certified to EN 12195-2 from 25 to 75 mm, and lashing chains for machinery, steel and vehicles. Unitising before transport: the complete strapping programme — polyester straps, buckles, tensioners and dispensers.
Remember that securing and lifting equipment are certified differently — a lashing strap must never lift and a lifting sling must never lash. If your loads, routes or vehicles are changing, contact us and we will calculate the securing arrangement to the applicable standards.
Frequently asked questions
Lashing straps or lashing chains?
Straps for general cargo — light, gentle on the load and quick to apply. Chains for machinery, steel and vehicles, where high lashing capacities and resistance to sharp edges decide. Many transports combine both.
What regulations apply to load securing?
In European road transport the reference standards are EN 12195 (calculation and equipment: straps, chains) — the label on each strap or chain states the certified LC/STF values used in the calculation. The carrier is responsible for adequate securing.
How quickly can securing equipment be delivered?
Straps, chains and strapping supplies are stock-oriented — request a quote with types and quantities and we will confirm availability and the delivery cost for your location.
